NEXA AUTOCOLOR® launches Waterborne Clearcoat

End to end green repair solutions from NEXA AUTOCOLOR

Nexa Autocolor is pleased to announce the launch of a new Waterborne Clearcoat P910-5510 to enable bodyshops to demonstrate their commitment to reducing solvent emissions without compromising the quality of the repair.

The launch of P910-5510 Waterborne Clearcoat builds on the Nexa Autocolor heritage of the world's first waterborne basecoat technology introduced in 1992, the ground-breaking 'next generation' Aquabase Plus Basecoat product introduced in 2006 and the Eco+ Primer Surfacer technology launched in 2012.

Maxine Timlett, UK & Ireland Product Manager comments "The new Waterborne Clearcoat from Nexa Autocolor supports a significant advance in the use of more ecologically responsible paint systems."

"P910-5510 offers bodyshops an unbeatable level of flexibility, ease of use, and superb finish with the benefit of a 74% reduction in solvent emissions when compared to typical solventborne Clearcoat"

Combined with a dedicated hardener and thinner, the Clearcoat provides enhanced flow and appearance, making it even easier to achieve a top quality result. It is simple to mix and easy to use, benefitting from a 'one-visit' application process. The superb gloss levels achieved ensure a quality reproduction of the motor manufacturer finish.

Using Waterborne Basecoat, Eco+ Primer Surfacer and the new Waterborne Clearcoat provides bodyshops with an end to end green repair solution enabling bodyshops to demonstrate their individual commitment to protecting the environment, without compromising on performance or quality of repair.

The new Nexa Autocolor Waterborne Clearcoat is another example of Nexa Autocolor's commitment to innovating green repair solutions for bodyshops.
